February is National Pet Dental Health Month
Did you know that more than 85 percent of dogs and cats show signs of oral disease by age four?
As a pet parent, it's time to take action against dental disease! Your veterinary team at Red Cedar Animal Hospital, PC wants to help. In celebration of National Pet Dental Health Month, we are offering a 10% discount off our professional teeth cleanings. This includes ultrasonic scaling, polishing and fluoride treatment.
Dental care can add 4 years to the life of your pet! This includes professional dental cleanings as well as home dental care. If you look into your dog or cat’s mouth and see red, inflamed gums or brown tartar on their teeth, they need to have their teeth cleaned. Having your pet’s teeth professionally cleaned helps prevent more extensive dental disease later on, such as painful periodontal disease or tooth abscess/loss.
Not sure if your pet really needs a teeth cleaning? Our licensed veterinary technicians would be happy to provide you and your pet with a complimentary dental consultation. During this consultation, one of our educated techs can evaluate your pet's mouth for dental disease, and discuss treatment options. This is a perfect opportunity for teeth-brushing demonstrations as well as creating a custom home dental care protocol for you and your pet.
Please call today to schedule your pet's professional teeth cleaning or dental consultation:
Remember...While February is National Pet Dental Health Month, dental health should be a daily ritual for pet owners all year long.
